The DTI is made up of the Department proper, regional offices, line corporate agencies and government entities and corporation. (contact the webmaster to request for a soft copy of the DTI Directory)
At present, DTI exercises its mandate through 11 bureaus, 8 attached agencies, 9 corporations, 16 regional and 74 provincial offices, 7 city/area offices, 10 service offices, and 27 foreign trade service posts. It is manned by 4,478 employees (as of October 2005).
The Department has five major functional groups composed of bureaus involved in line operations which delivers business and consumer services directly to the stakeholders and the public. The five groups are:

Industry and Investments. Investment promotion in activities critical to the Department's trade and industry development program

Consumer Welfare and Trade Regulation. Enforcement of laws to protect consumers; consumer education and formation of consumer groups

Industry and Investment Group (IIG)
BOI - Board of Investments
The BOI is the lead investment promotion agency of the Philippine government. It promotes investments in industries and in the regions of the country for balanced economic development.
BEMB - Bonded Export Marketing Board
Promotes the establishment of bonded manufacturing and trading facilities for the re-export of those products where a clear net value added may be generated based on the emerging comparative advantage of the Philippine export industry.
CIC - Center for International Competitiveness
Implements quality and productivity programs for industrial competitiveness
PEZA - Philippine Economic Zone Authority
In-charge of attracting foreign investors to develop or put up export manufacturing plants or regional warehouses in world-class, environment-friendly economic zones. It administers and manages the incentives of 114 approved special economic zones in various parts of the country.
NDC - National Development Company
Invests in businesses where the private sector is not willing to venture into
CEZA - Cagayan Export Zone Authority
Administers investments at the Cagayan Export Zone
PNCC - Philippine National Construction Company
Invests in infrastructure to spur economic growth
International Trade Group (ITG)
BETP - Bureau of Export Trade Promotion
Delivers timely and relevant information and assistance to exporters and would-be exporters to enhance their capabilities and global competitiveness as suppliers of quality goods and services to international markets.
ICO-CA - International Coffee Organization Certification Agency
Negotiates and implements the International Coffee Agreement (ICA) between the Philippines and other countries and acts as the export marketing and promotional arm of the Philippine coffee industry.
BITR - Bureau of International Trade Relations
Engages and represents the country in bilateral and multilateral trade and investment negotiations
FTSC - Foreign Trade Service Corps
Promotes Philippine exports and investments overseas through various marketing activities and commercial intelligence work
MECO - Manila Economic and Cultural Office
Promotes Philippine trade, investments, tourism, labor and scientific and cultural cooperation with Taiwan in coordination with Philippine government agencies and the private sector.
GTEB - Garments and Textile Export Board
Manages and supervises the garment textile quota system set up under the Agreement on Textiles and Clothing (ATC) which governs world trade in textiles and garments.
Consumer Welfare & Trade Regulation Group (CWTRG)
BIS - Bureau of Import Services
Facilitates imports, administers import regulation on selected items and monitors the importation of liberalized and sensitive items. It initiates and conducts preliminary investigations on dumping, countervailing and safeguard protests.
BPS - Bureau of Product Standards
Develops, promotes and implements standards and related programs nationwide. It participates and represents the country in various standards-related activities worldwide. It is an active member of the international Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), and the ASEAN Consultative Committee for Standards and Quality.
BTRCP - Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection
Functions as a policy-making body and oversees the overall implementation of trade and consumer protection laws.
CIAP - Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines
Promotes, accelerates and regulates the construction industry. Its implementing boards are the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB), the Philippine Domestic Construction Board (POCB) and the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC).
PSB - Philippine Shippers Bureau
Helps facilitate the development and growth of foreign trade and the national economy by helping exporters identify the most economical and fastest shipping modes.
IPO - Intellectual Property Office
Oversees and enforces the overall implementation of intellectual property rights, trademarks, and patents.
OLA - Office of Legal Affairs
Provides legal support to the Department's bureaus and agencies

BSMED - Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development
Promotes and develop small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country. It initiates and implements programs and projects addressing specific SME needs in technology development and transfer, financing, marketing and training, and market promotion thru trade fairs.
BDT - Bureau of Domestic Trade
Promotes efficient marketing and distribution of local products and services in the domestic market and expands and strengthens linkages among and between small, medium and large enterprises from all over the country through information exchange and market matching.
CITEM - Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions
Assists exporters by developing their core competencies in the areas of marketing, promotion and capability building through professionally managed and well selected programs and activities such as organizing international trade fairs.
PDDCP - Product Development and Design Center of the Philippines
Promotes industrial design as a tool for improving the quality and competitiveness of Philippine products. It services the design needs of entrepreneurial groups and associations from every level of industry.
CITC - Cottage Industry Technology Center
Provides production-related training and technical assistance to furniture, gifts and housewares, fine jewelry and leather footwear industries all over the country.
CMDF - Construction Manpower Development Foundation
Oversees the development of human resources of the construction industry in all levels - skilled craftsmen, engineers, supervisors, managers and contractors. It draws up an overall construction manpower development plan and relevant strategies, and develops/implements manpower training and certification programs.
PTTC - Philippine Trade Training Center
Designs and implements training programs on export marketing and management, entrepreneurial management, quality management and productivity, and trade exhibition management and participation.
SBCorp - Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation
Supports the development of small enterprises by promoting various modes of financing and credit delivery systems.
Policy, Planning and Communications Group
OPR - Office of Policy Research
Provides coherent, consistent and clear trade and industry policies in support of national economic development agenda
OOP - Office of the Operational Planning
Coordinates and monitors implementation of DTI operating plans and programs; asseses performance versus targets set and cost effectiveness
TIIC - Trade and Industry Information Center
Provides overall information and communication support to advance major DTI key result areas, namely investment promotion, export expansion, countryside / SME growth and consumer welfare
PRO - Public Relations Office
Develops and maintains media support and network that maximizes press mileage to the general public, to make the public aware of DTI and the services it offers and to generate support and public participation in the economic upliftment of the countryside

Provides logistical services (procurement, transport, cashiering, security and all other utility services) to facilitate operations of all DTI functional and support groups
