Information Access Center (IAC)
An official development assistance grant from the Republic of South Korea through the Ministry of Information and Communication and the Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion, the Information Access Center was established at PTTC and inaugurated on October 15, 2004 to help empower SMEs in the field of IT by providing training in an electronic environment. At the IAC, one can easily learn business research tools and analysis, online marketing and emerging technologies for e-commerce transactions.
The grant consists of an Internet Plaza, a seminar room and a computer lecture room equipped with 71 computer workstations, furniture and fixtures.
The Internet Plaza , with 28 workstations, offers 1 hour free usage for seminar participants, trade fair exhibitors and visitors, SME clients and the general public. In addition, one of the activities recently undertaken is the provision of online registration for the use of the Internet among training participants and the general public. With the presence of the IAC, PTTC can fully serve both its clients and the public through direct access to the Internet. The IAC also serves as PTTC’s e-business facility.
