The Industry Development Group (IDG), headed by Undersecretary Ceferino S. Rodolfo, is in charge of investment promotion in activities critical to the DTI's trade and industry development program. 
Under the IDG are the following bureaus/offices:
Board of Investments (BOI)
Promotes investments in industries and in the regions for balanced economic development. The BOI is the lead investment promotion agency of the Philippine government.
Bureau of Import Services (BIS)
Facilitates imports, administers import regulation on selected items, and monitors the importation of liberalized and sensitive items. The BIS initiates and conducts preliminary investigations on dumping, countervailing, and safeguard protests.
Bureau of International Trade Relations (BITR)
Engages and represents the country in bilateral and multilateral trade and investment negotiations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), among others.
Competitiveness Bureau (CB)
Implements quality and productivity programs for industrial competitiveness. 
Sector Planning Bureau (SPB) / E-Commerce Office (ECO)
Provides coherent, consistent, and clear trade and industry policies in support of the national economic development agenda.
