Korea, PHL hosted companies on Copyright Technology

THE Philippines Copyright Technology Business Exchange Meeting event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and coorganized by Asia Exchange Association, Korea Copyright Commission, in collaboration with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Seoul, represented by Jeon Ai-Ja, in coordination with the Export Marketing Bureau (EMB)—Services Division of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which participated in the event.

Korean companies that participated in the meeting are DaolSoft, a mobile app and e-book solutions developer; BeyondTech, specializes in software development for Macintosh, localization service, publishing and copyright solutions; KT Skylife, sole Satellite Broadcaster in Korea operating 12 channels and the first Multi-Channel Ultra High Definition Broadcasting over the world; T-IME Education, publisher of various online and offline education tools in Korea; and Korea Educational Broadcasting System, a public broadcasting company that specializes in producing educational and documentaries in Korea.

Philippine companies matched are People’s Television Network, Intercontinental Broadcasting Corp., Eagle Broadcasting Corp., ATC Sports, Chinatown TV, One Outsource Direct Corp., Logistika and Olive Air.

The activity provided platform for broadcasting companies and private industries to share knowledge and participate in one-on-one business-matching activities with the Korean copyright technology and content corporations.

Korean companies expressed willingness to collaborate with Philippine companies, which can provide relevant services in areas of information-technology, broadcasting, education, copyrighting and other related activities.□
