The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) spearheaded by Mr. Marco Accad, Small Medium Enterprise Roving Academy (SMERA) Counselor conducted a synchronize training to different organizations in Nueva Vizcaya on July 08, 15, 20 and 22, 2016.

The training designed to equip and impart knowledge to SMEs the techniques in ensuring the continuous development and success of their business and organization.

Among the topics discussed were Customer Relationship Management, Management Planning and Control, Effective Business Communication and Business Networking, and Effective Trade Fair Participation. 

Participants were encouraged to review the management planning and control processes of their organization to analyse how these processes can contribute to their success and capitalize participation in trade fairs.

Mr. Accad stressed the importance of making clients feel comfortable through effective communication skills. He reminded the participants that building strong customer relationship helps business enterprise grow and expand its market base.

At the end of the training, the participants learned the proper ways of dealing with consumers and the importance of communication in building a good and professional relationship between the organization and their clients.

In attendance during the training were CARP, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Greener’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Quezon Furniture Makers and Workers Association, Malabing Literacy Organization Incorporated (MALOI) and Darapidap Auto Savings Group (DABECO ARC). 

For the month of July 2016, a total of 1,680 MSMEs have already benefitted from the 80 SMERA trainings conducted in the provinces of Cagayan, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela and Batanes.
