DTI ComPlan
The Department sees the Philippines, now recognized as a newly industrialized country (NIC), joining the ranks of First World countries by 2020. It shall remain a driving force in the country’s economic development, with the ultimate goal of reducing poverty by 50% by 2015, aligned with one of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) i.e, eradica ng extreme poverty and hunger.
The DTI, thru this complan, identifies where it is, who its target audience are, what its goal is, what it wants to say, and how it wants to say it, in order to achieve where it wants to be.
