NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The public is hereby warned that support@dti.gov.ph is a bogus email address. The seminars/trainings advertised using the abovementioned e-mail are not authorized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) and the Philippine Contractor’s Accreditation Board (PCAB). Likewise, the purported Board Resolution No. 434, Series of 2017 which was shown to be issued by the PCAB on 18 January 2017, requiring the mandatory Training/Seminar for CFY 2017-2018 and CFY 2018-2019 or the “Completion of Five Days Seminar Course for Standardization of Management and Impletion (sic) of ISO 9001-2015 as a pre-requisite requirement to filing(sic) of Application for New Contractor’s License” does not exist.

Contractors are advised to exercise caution and verify from PCAB before undertaking action regarding compliance with application requirements stated in various advertisements. The AMO and COSH seminars are the only required seminars for new applications and the ISO 9001-2015 is not a pre-requisite to the filing of said application.

Any information regarding the persons/entities responsible for this scam may be reported to PCAB hotline at 895-4220/895-4258 for appropriate action.
