Antipolo City, Philippines — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recognized 25 graduates of the CHAMPS Rizal program in a ceremony held on December 04. CHAMPS Rizal is an online entrepreneurship program designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs in Rizal Province with the knowledge and skills needed to launch and grow successful businesses.

From an initial cohort of 810 participants, these 25 individuals demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment by completing all program modules. The comprehensive curriculum covered essential topics, such as basic accounting for small businesses, and disaster preparedness for entrepreneurs.
Provincial Director Cleotilde Duran expressed the commitment of government agencies to assist the graduates, and urged them to continue their entrepreneurial journeys with confidence.
“Start small and trust the guidance of the DTI and other government agencies as you continue your entrepreneurial journeys,” Duran said.
Drawing from her experiences as a young entrepreneur, she encouraged the graduates to prioritize self-investment and health while enjoying the entrepreneurial process.
The ceremony also featured Ms. Marilou Sioson, owner of Sauce On Food House, who recounted her experiences as a beneficiary of the DTI’s flagship programs, including KMME-MME Online and OTOP Next Gen.
Ms. Sioson emphasized how these programs enhanced her business and products, noting the importance of leveraging government initiatives to achieve business success.
