Muntinlupa City, Philippines — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has brought the much anticipated Rimat Ti Amianan Trade Fair 2024 at Festival Mall in Alabang from December 4 to 08. In time for the holidays, this event showcased the best food and non-food products of 79 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from the Ilocos Region.
Themed “A Tapestry of Tradition, Excellence, and Innovation,” the Rimat Ti Amianan Trade Fair highlighted the efforts of local entrepreneurs to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern excellence.
Visitors explored a diverse range of high-quality products that reflect the unique culture and traditions of the Ilocos Region. From artisanal food items to innovative crafts, the trade fair served as a platform for local entrepreneurs to display their talents and connect with consumers.
Additionally, the fair highlighted the region’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) goods, with a special audio-visual presentation on the OTOP hubs and OTOPreneurs. To further emphasize the quality of these products, the Best-of-Breed OTOP Products Catalogue was also unveiled during the opening program.
Pangasinan Congressman Christopher “Toff” Devenecia and DTI Assistant Secretary Dominic Tolentino, Assistant Secretary Grace Falgui-Baluyan, and Region 1 officials were in attendance to fully support the program to drive MSME growth.
After a virtual hiatus, the Rimat Ti Amianan Trade Fair 2024 brought together in and innovators for a physical gathering. Building on the 2020 virtual edition, this year’s event trade fostered connections and promoted the region’s best products and businesses. ♦
