The upcoming Founding Anniversary on February 26-27, 2025, will highlight the role of innovation, digital transformation, and skills development in strengthening businesses under the theme “Train & Thrive: Empowering MSMEs in Bagong Pilipinas.”

The Philippine Trade Training Center – Global MSME Academy (PTTC-GMEA) is set to celebrate its 38th founding anniversary on February 26-27, 2025, with the theme “Train & Thrive: Empowering MSMEs in Bagong Pilipinas.” The event will showcase PTTC- GMEA’s continuing commitment to strengthening the capabilities of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and exporters by providing cutting-edge training, resources, and support to help them succeed in the evolving global market.

The 38th Anniversary Celebration will kick off with an Opening Ceremony, bringing together key Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) officials, partner organizations, and industry stakeholders. The event will highlight PTTC-GMEA’s significant contributions to the business sector and reaffirm its mission to drive economic growth through training and capacity-building initiatives.

Following the opening, distinguished industry experts and partners will deliver keynote speeches focusing on opportunities for MSMEs, digital transformation, and innovation- driven entrepreneurship. These insights will provide valuable perspectives on how businesses can navigate the challenges of an evolving market.

Interactive Thematic Breakout Sessions

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful thematic breakout sessions designed to equip MSMEs and exporters with practical strategies for business growth and competitiveness. These sessions will cover key areas essential for success in today’s dynamic business environment. The session on “Marketing for the Future: Powered by AI” will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming marketing strategies and how MSMEs can leverage AI-driven tools for growth. Meanwhile, “Going Global: Advanced Export Strategies for MSMEs” will provide expert techniques and best practices to help businesses expand internationally and navigate global trade.

For those looking to scale their businesses, “Financing Innovations for MSME Growth” will delve into innovative funding opportunities, financial management strategies, and alternative financing solutions. Additionally, “Building Agile Teams: HR Strategies for MSME Success” will focus on developing resilient, high-performing teams through modern HR practices, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies.

PTTC Open House: A Journey of Innovation and Creativity

As part of the celebration, PTTC-GMEA will host a free Open House, offering an immersive, hands-on journey through creative and digital innovation. Participants will experience a step-by-step learning process, equipping them with practical skills that can enhance their business operations.

The journey begins with Mobile Photography in Studio 1300, where participants will learn how to capture high-quality product photos using their mobile devices. This session will focus on lighting, composition, and angles to create visually appealing product images— an essential skill for effective online selling and branding.

After capturing their products, participants will move to Canva Essentials at Ensayo Creative Hub, where they will transform their photos into compelling marketing materials. This workshop will guide them through designing promotional graphics, social media posts, and branding elements using Canva, a powerful yet user-friendly design tool.

Finally, participants will take their creativity a step further with Making Almost Anything at DIGIFAB Shared Service Facility. This session will introduce them to digital fabrication and product prototyping, demonstrating how technology can be leveraged to innovate and bring ideas to life.
