The Department of Trade and Industry R2 Isabela, through its Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office, successfully conducted a Digital Marketing Seminar and Workshop on Effective Post Creation cum E-Records Management on February 22, 2024, in Barangay Dagupan, San Mateo, Isabela.
The seminar and workshop aimed at empowering the 21 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and members of San Mateo Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SMMPC) provided a valuable opportunity to explore the dynamic world of digital marketing and electronic records management. Furthermore, it highlighted the growing importance of digital marketing and the relevance of electronic records management in today’s business landscape.
The ARBs were equipped with the latest digital marketing trends and techniques, emphasizing the benefits of adopting digital business strategies. The cooperative’s journey into the digital sphere began with the creation of its own Facebook Page, where participants learned how to navigate the platform effectively.
In addition to theoretical knowledge, the activity also included practical demonstrations. The members were given the opportunity to craft engaging and effective online content, which was then uploaded to the newly established Facebook Page of the cooperative.
The activity was a concerted effort of DTI and DAR through the DTI R2 Isabela’s Provincial CARP Coordinator, Billy Joe B. Concepcion, and the Productivity and Efficiency Unit Head, STIDS Mary Rose M. Dumpit, along with DAR Development Facilitator Michelle Joie Pascual.
This successful collaboration exemplifies the government’s commitment to supporting rural communities and fostering economic growth through innovative means. It will undoubtedly contribute to the prosperity and sustainability of Luna’s agricultural sector. ♦
