About 26 out of 32 members of the OFWs Rising Heroes of Dupax Del Sur attended the SMERA Seminar on “How to Start and Sustain a Business and Business Name Registration, with Permit Procedure, and Financial Management and Bookkeeping” on March 30, 2017 at People’s Hall, Dupax Del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya.
The seminar aims to help the members of the OFWs Rising Heroes to avail themselves of a Livelihood Starting Kit worth P10,000.00 from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
DTI Region 2 SMERA Counselor, Mr. Alfredo Queja discussed topics on how to start and sustain a business. He also gave emphasis on the importance of Business Name Registration.

A SMERA Counseling was conducted, in collaboration with Ms. Analyn I. Baniqued, Negosyo Center Coordinator of the municipality.
Participants were able to understand how to start and sustain a business and value the importance of Business Name Registration.
