Graduation ceremony for the Batch 2 of the Increasing Digital Skills and E-commerce for Asean Women MSMEs (IDEAS) Project pushed through on July 24, 2024 in the City of Dasmariñas amidst typhoon Carina.

The project, which is a partnership between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Cavite and Women’s Business Council Philippines, successfully assisted thirty-three (33) Womenpreneurs from Cavite and Laguna by providing them with 9 modules of training and workshops that delve into the various aspects of conducting business online, setting up an e-commerce website and implementing effective digital marketing strategies.

The project also served as platform for the MSMEs to showcase their products, network with potential partners, and gain further visibility in the market.

In her message, DTI 4-A Regional Director Marissa Argente urged the MSMEs to always seize opportunities by participating in the programs and projects by the DTI and other government agencies. She also thanked the Women Biz.ph for a fruitful collaboration and for their advocacy in elevating the businesses of women entrepreneurs.

DTI Cavite OIC-Provincial Director Lilibeth Chavez, Ideas Project Manager Dennis B. Paguio, Ideas resource speaker Jane Maghanoy, and Mr. Jaime Tepora of PCCI Cavite also graced the event to show their support to the MSMEs. ♦
