
Nagcarlan, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), through its Negosyo Center and Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Programs, conducted a specialized business planning session for Galalan Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-Purpose Cooperative last June 20, 2024, at Galalan ARB Multipurpose Cooperative Building, Brgy. Galalan, Pangil, Laguna.
The session was attended by an approximately 20 members who are also potential microentrepreneurs. Mr. Nuel Lapitan, CARP Focal Person for Laguna, started the session with opening remarks, followed by the recognition of the participants. He then introduced Ms. Michelle Caymo, Laguna Negosyo Center Business Counsellor, who proceeded with the discussion on business planning.


The specialized session was able to provide the participants with the basic and advanced knowledge on how to create business plans and the its significance before launching a business, gearing toward becoming successful business owners. An actual business planning workshop was also facilitated thereafter for the participants to incorporate the new learning in their respective business plans.
Toward the end of the session, positive comments from the participants were received, and they expressed their satisfaction with the learning activity. All of the participants who answered the Client Satisfaction Form graded it passed. Overall, the seminar was commended by the participants, and they expressed their interests to join the future seminars, mentoring and coaching sessions of DTI-Laguna (MFCaymo, DTI-Laguna). ♦
