Calamba City — The Department of Trade and Industry, thru DTI Regional Operations Group, DTI 4A CALABARZON and DTI Laguna, in partnership with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) successfully conducted “Regional Roadshow on Business Name and One-Person Corporation Registration” for the promotion of Business Name and One-Person Corporation Registration at the San Jose Resort and Event Center, 0167 Don Bosco St, Brgy. Sirang Lupa, Calamba City, Laguna, on May 14, 2024.

The program commenced with opening remarks from DTI 4A CALABARZON Regional Director Marissa Argente, who expressed her support for the event and highlighted its significance in promoting business growth and development within the region.

Key speakers in the said event included (1) Mr. Theoperr Ian Empis who provided comprehensive information on the importance and procedures of business name registration; (2) Ms. Margarette Joy Golan who offered valuable insights into the concept, characteristics, policies, and registration processes for One-Person Corporation; and (3) Ms. Juvie Lyne Villamora who discussed the incentives, benefits, and registration process for Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE).
