
Antipolo City, Rizal – June 24, 2024 – DTI Rizal is pleased to announce the successful completion of an insightful Assessment, Consultation, and Triage session held on June 24, 2024, Monday. The event featured a comprehensive seminar on Overview: Brand, Branding, and Brand Identity by Mr. Ronald Rommel Viloria (Designer), attended by distinguished consultants from various sectors and MSMEs from the province of Rizal.
The session began with a prayer led by Ms. Aileen Samson owner of Café Marahuyo. After that is the introduction of the OTOPreneurs. A warm welcome message from the Provincial Director, Cleotilde M. Duran. For the overview of the Activity, CTIDS Sharon Dioco explained the OTOP program introduces businesses to an ecosystem of interventions and providing them assistance to level up their products in terms of qualit, desing and production volume. The activity was also attended by Regional Trade Promotion Officer, STIDS Loumarie Galvan who also gave a short message to OTOPreneurs and also with her is the Regional OTOP NG Staff, Ariza Joyce Dela Cueva.


Participants underwent a detailed evaluation process to identify their specific needs and areas for improvement. Also, the assessment focused on various aspects, including current branding strategies, market positioning, and customer perception. A team of experienced consultants was also invited to provide personalized advice and strategies tailored to each participant’s unique brand requirements. Ms Nina Sherylle Giron of DOST, Food Technologist Anne Enerio and IP Field Operation Specialist of Intellectual Property Office spent the entire afternoon assisting the twelve entrepreneurs. They also recommended immediate action points and long-term goals for brand development.
The seminar about branding is a key component of the session, offered in-depth insights into the fundamentals and advanced concepts of branding. According to Mr. Viloria, this seminar would help entrepreneurs understand what makes a brand unique and how to articulate this to the target audience. He stressed that MSMEs must develop effective branding strategies that align with business goals and resonate with customers. He explained that MSMEs should create a cohesive and compelling brand identity through visual elements, messaging, and customer experiences. Furthermore, he reminded the participants to learn from successful brands and applying best practices to strengthen brand presence. ♦
