Los Baños, Laguna — The Small and Medium Enterprises Roving Academy is one of the Department of Trade and Industry’s ongoing education initiatives created to help enterprises grow. This program aids micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in learning how to improve their competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets.

This session was a component of a series of capacity development program offered by CLDD to its existing and potential MSMEs.

The seminar began with an opening speech from the head of CMDC, highlighting the significance of food safety in today’s competitive market. Mr. Vencer Vladimir Hurtada, Business Counselor from DTI-Laguna, delivered comprehensive modules on the topic. To create a friendly atmosphere and encourage open dialogue among attendees, CMDC representatives conducted a witty ice breaker activity (TikTok showdown). This activity played a pivotal role in establishing a positive ambiance for the event, promoting active involvement and networking. Interactive sessions such as Q&A and group discussions facilitated lively interactions between speakers and participants, offering personalized advice and opportunities to share experiences.
