Louie Anthony J. Delgado of Snap A Shot Cafe presents his business improvement plan to the panelists

The first batch of entrepreneurs who underwent the Kapatid Mentor ME! (KMME) Online Program will present their business improvement plans (BIP) reflecting the major challenges in finding the right strategies on the business to thrive under the new normal to a group of panelists via Zoom on Sept. 16 to 18.

Forty-two mentees from Capiz (14), Iloilo (14), and Antique (14) Provinces will discuss their BIPs before DTI-Region 6 Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon with other key officials of the DTI and representatives from the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, digital platform business, and banking and financial institutions, among others.

The mentoring sessions are seen to help MSMEs scale up businesses since mentees will have the opportunity to discuss issues, challenges, and find models from successful entrepreneurs to serve as their mentors.

Following their BIP Presentation, the graduation of mentees will follow on Sept. 21.

Also, DTI-Region 6’s second batch of the KMME Online Program will have their BIP Presentation on Oct 5 to 7. These are composed of 42 entrepreneurs from the Province of Negros Occidental. Graduation follows on Oct. 9.

Batch 3 will roll-out on Sept. 30.

The KMME Online Program is the online version of the DTI’s KMME Program along with the PCE where qualified entrepreneurs are given the chance to be mentored by experts in the industry through a 10-week session of intensive mentoring.

Modules include topics on Marketing, Financial Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Business Laws and Taxation, Business Model Canvass, among others. Panelists include Capiz OIC-Provincial Director Ken Queenie Cuñada, PCE’s Merly Cruz, Estrella Menchavez and Paul Anthony de Guzman, SB Corp.’s Julie Tidon, among others.♦
