Makati City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to highlight the strength and creativity of Filipino enterprises at the 2025 Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair, which will take place from April 9 to 13 at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls 1-3.

Led by the DTI’s Bureau of Market Development, Promotions & OTOP (DTI-BMDPO), in cooperation with the DTI regional and provincial offices, the five-day fair will feature more than 250 exceptional food-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across the country.

“The National Food Fair serves as an essential platform for Filipino MSMEs to introduce their products and innovations to broader markets. Through this event, we aim to empower entrepreneurs by providing critical opportunities and resources necessary for them to thrive locally and internationally,” said Assistant Secretary and Supervising Head of the DTI-Competitiveness and Innovation Group (CIG) Nylah Rizza D. Bautista.

Beyond a mere marketplace, the event is a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to sample traditional heritage recipes, explore innovative food products, and enjoy culinary specialties from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Moreover, this year’s fair will showcase:

  • Launch of DTI Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace: Experience the unveiling of the DTI’s Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace, the largest business-to-business e-commerce platform designed to support local MSMEs. This innovative digital platform will directly connect Filipino entrepreneurs with global institutional buyers, significantly and efficiently expanding their market reach and presence.
  • Diverse Food Clusters: Discover a rich tapestry of Filipino flavors—from fresh and processed seafood, locally sourced produce, and processed meats to regional delicacies, snacks, nuts, artisanal beverages, fruit wines, botanical drinks, and health supplements.
