The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) issues a public reminder that advertisements and promotional activities encouraging the use or purchase of vapor products, heated tobacco products, and novel tobacco products are prohibited. This includes displaying brand names, logos, and identifiers on promotional merchandise like t-shirts, lanyards, umbrellas, and shopping bags, as illustrated in the image.

REMINDER | The DTI Office for the Special Mandate on Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products, their Devices, and Novel Tobacco Products (OSMV) reminds the public and businesses that advertisements and other forms of consumer communication, and promotional activities that promote or encourage vaping, the use, or purchase of Vapor Products, Heated Tobacco Products, and Novel Tobacco Products shall be PROHIBITED.

This prohibition includes display of brand names, logos and identifiers on promotional merchandise (t-shirts, lanyards, umbrellas, motorcycle trunk cases, etc.) and advertising of devices.
