Macau SAR – Filipino food took center stage at the Sofitel Macau as the Philippine Trade and Investment Center–Hong Kong (PTIC-HK) of the Department of Trade and Industry supported the successful Filipino Food Month celebration last April 2025 with “Pinas Sarap: A Filipino Buffet.”  Held at Mistral Restaurant, the event showcased the Philippines’ vibrant culinary heritage and attracted a strong turnout from the local diplomatic, business, and food communities.

The event, organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Macau SAR (PCG Macau SAR) and Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, welcomed distinguished guests, including Consul General of the Philippines in Macau SAR, Ms. Edna May G. Lazaro, along with PCG Macau SAR officials, dignitaries, and senior executives from foreign companies.

The event showcased the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine, highlighting exceptional products that elevate traditional dishes. Among the featured brands, Mama Sita’s premium ingredients played a significant role in bringing authentic Filipino flavors to life. The event also spotlighted renowned Filipino beverages, including San Miguel Light and Pale Pilsen by San Miguel Corporation, Manille Liquer de Calamansi by Destileria Limtuaco & Co Inc. and Ube Cream Liquer by Destileria Barako.

The buffet ran throughout the month of April 2025, featuring a selection of traditional and contemporary Filipino dishes that celebrated the country’s culinary heritage. Supporting initiatives that promote Filipino products and cuisine in the global market, the PTIC-HK continues to strengthen cultural appreciation and expand opportunities for Filipino businesses abroad.
