The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM)
aims to ramp up its non-traditional trade and investment promotion drive at the upcoming Hannover Messe
in Germany. It aims to attract more foreign investors for the country’s booming energy industry and build investors’ confidence in the Philippines as a global powerhouse of renewable energy. CITEM’s participation to the trade show is in line with the government’s Philippine Energy Plan (PEP) 2012-2030. Aside from renewable energy, the promotion activity also seeks to secure investments for local stakeholders in energy efficiency, conservation, and transmission in the Philippines.
Hannover Messe is the world’s leading trade show for industrial technology. It presents an opportunity to explore the global industrial value-adding chain, including trends in energy efficiency, lightweight construction and additive manufacturing.
The business mission will include six days of business visits to Manila, Bohol and Palawan provinces as well as tours of major Philippine tourism destinations. The event aims to inform EU companies about commercial opportunities in the country’s tourism sector, including potential investment locations and source of new business growth. It will also be a platform to meet and network with the Philippine tourism industry officials and stakeholders.
