The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Silicon Valley (PTIC-SV), supported the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco’s (San Francisco PCG) forum titled “Unleashing the Startup Mindsets in the Philippines: A National Innovation Update” on April 28 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center in San Francisco.
Earl Valencia, co-author of “Startup Mindsets: A Blueprint to Thrive in an Innovation-Driven and Globally Connected World.”, provided insights into the current state of the Philippine startup ecosystem, key national innovation policies, and their impact on entrepreneurship. He also discussed strategies for scaling innovation and how government investments can create meaningful change for a large population.
As part of its broader mission to drive innovation and empower Filipino startups, DTI strengthens its commitment to equipping local innovators with the resources, knowledge, and international networks needed to scale their ventures and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic growth. ♦
