The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Singapore and the Department of Trade and Industry, will hold the 3rd Philippines-Singapore Business and Investment Summit on 27 April 2022, Wednesday, 2PM Manila time. The virtual summit will feature Philippine cabinet members and other high-level government officials who will discuss why the Philippines is an ideal business and investment destination.

Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon M. Lopez, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi and Central Bank Governor Benjamin Diokno will discuss the monetary policy, tax reforms, improved economic climate, and bright economic growth prospects, along with specific investment opportunities.

Enterprise Singapore, a statutory body under the Singapore Ministry of Trade, will also share how they support Singapore companies expanding in the Philippines. Industry associations Fintech Philippines Association, Digital Pilipinas and Developers of Renewable Energy for AdvanceMent Inc. (DREAM), and private companies like PLDT and Philippines Fiber Optic Cable Network will also share key insights in doing business in their sectors.

The inaugural forum of the PSBIS was held in October 2019 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore with five Cabinet-level Philippine officials and over 210 participants. The 2nd investment summit was conducted virtually in light of the pandemic last year. With the same powerhouse team of ministers and high-level officials, the webinar had 400 participants composed of Singapore-based business leaders representing enterprises, manufacturing companies, multinational corporations, business organizations, MSMEs, chambers of commerce and members of the diplomatic corps.
