
Taipei, Taiwan – The Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Taipei (PTIC-Taipei), in collaboration with the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), successfully promoted Philippine franchise brands at the Taipei International Franchise Exhibition held from February 14 to 17, 2025. The event highlighted the growing potential of Philippine businesses and offered valuable opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
Key activities included:
- Trade Show Engagement: The PFA featured a dedicated booth showcasing Philippine franchise brands, with PTIC-Taipei and the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) providing Mandarin-to-English translation support to facilitate effective communication with visitors.
- Business Exchange: PTIC-Taipei organized business exchange discussions between PFA and the local business community. These discussions provided an avenue to exchange market insights and explore potential master franchise opportunities in Taiwan.
- Seminar Organization: A seminar for Filipino professionals in Taiwan, as well as Taiwanese entrepreneurs interested in Philippine franchise concepts, was held in partnership with MECO, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and PFA. The session educated 135 attendees on the benefits of engaging with Philippine brands.
The mission generated strong interest in Philippine franchise opportunities, providing numerous franchise leads while fostering collaboration with Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) and deeper ties between Philippines and Taiwan business communities.
PTIC-Taipei continues to drive initiatives that promote Philippine enterprises, showcasing their global competitiveness and opening doors for expanded international partnerships. ♦
