Undersecretary Rodolfo speaks at major Asia trade conference

Philippine Department of Trade and Industry’s Undersecretary for Industry Development and Trade Policy, Ceferino S. Rodolfo, gave a speech at Asia House’s conference, 'Asia Trade in the New Global Order,' in Hong Kong on the 27th of November 2017. As Asia House’s first largest event outside of London, the conference aimed at bringing the trade debate to an Asian platform. It brought together thought leaders from across the globe including high-level government representatives, former ministers and government representatives, and the ASEAN Secretariat.

Non-executive Director of Quorn Foods and Monde Nissin Vijay Thakrar on what drives and boosts UK companies in the ASEAN region.

"One of the big benefits of, again, partnering with Monde Nissin was that it’s headquartered in the Philippines, so it’s already in ASEAN. The 650 million people that are already there – rising middle class – that was an attractive proposition for us. And what we’ve done is that, since the partnership with Monde Nissin began, we started selling Quorn and indeed some of our other business products from elsewhere in the group in the Philippines. "

The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP), in partnership with the British Embassy Manila, is organising the Iloilo Trade Mission on 8-9 March 2018.

With the theme "Promoting Regional Development Towards Prosperity For All," the Mission will highlight a Trade & Investment Forum on March 8 at the Richmonde Hotel aimed to facilitate a dialogue between the government and private sectors and present business opportunities in Iloilo and the Visayas as a whole.


Manila FAME 

Manila FAME is a bi-annual showcase of craftsmanship, design innovation, and artisanship. It brings an array of home, fashion, holiday, architectural, and interior pieces – which are export-quality products crafted in the Philippines for the global market. It provides a platform for business matchmaking between select exporters, including local SMEs, and buyers from all over the world.
The 67th edition of this premier design and lifestyle event will be held at the World Trade Center (WTC), Metro Manila. It will play between the lines of marketability and aesthetics as it continues its exploration on design trends, the Philippine design identity, and product marketability.

The business mission will include six days of business visits to Manila, Bohol and Palawan provinces as well as tours of major Philippine tourism destinations. The event aims to inform EU companies about commercial opportunities in the country’s tourism sector, including potential investment locations and source of new business growth. It will also be a platform to meet and network with the Philippine tourism industry officials and stakeholders.

The 14th Philippine Food Expo 2018 is the most comprehensive and recognized “Only All-Filipino Food Show” in the country – spearheaded by a leading food industry association, the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (PHILFOODEX).

Aerospace Philippines
BCI Aerospace is launching the very first edition of Aeromart Summit Clark 2018, which will be held on the 4th to 6th of June in Clark, Pampanga. It is the first international business convention event dedicated to the aerospace, MRO and airport infrastructure industries in the Philippines.
