The presentation was followed by a question and answer session. One participant requested for clarification whether in what way PAB’s accreditation standards differ from standards of regulatory agencies. Ms. Baje responded that PAB accreditation is based on international standards while the regulatory agencies (i.e. DENR) based their standards from their regulation or Department Administrative Order.
The LABCON is Molave’s annual flagship conference to provide a venue for customers to share and learn good laboratory practices. This year’s goal is to guide the participants in practicing sustainability in their respective laboratories especially in chemical waste reduction, chemical handling, and resource management. Parallel sessions with resource speakers coming from different industries of food, pharma and heavy industries were also held during the event.
