Southern Metrology and Calibration Services, Inc. proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary with a significant milestone—being granted a total of three accreditations from the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB), further solidifying its commitment to excellence in calibration, inspection, and proficiency testing.
The certificates of accreditation were formally awarded on April 30, 2025, coinciding with the company’s 10-year founding anniversary celebration at Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort in Tiaong, Quezon. The event was graced by Michelle P. Esteban, Division Chief of the Laboratory Accreditation Division of PAB, who officially presented the certificates.
The company is now among PAB’s accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) in the field of Proficiency Testing Providers (PTP) for calibration under ISO/IEC 17043:2023. Additionally, during the same event, Southern Metrology was awarded ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accreditation as an inspection body, expanding its accredited schemes beyond its existing ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification for testing and calibration laboratories. Together, these accreditations strengthen Southern Metrology’s credibility, technical expertise, and adherence to global best practices in calibration, inspection, and testing.
