
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Misamis Oriental facilitated the 2024 Year-end Assessment and Planning session for the Cagayan de Oro City Price Coordinating Council (CDO CPCC) on December 19, 2024.
DTI Misamis Oriental serves as the Vice Chairperson and Secretariat of CDO CPCC.
The year-end assessment and planning were organized to review the Council’s powers, functions, and the contributions of implementing agencies.
The objective was to realign the Council’s programs and activities to effectively address the challenges of 2025.
Key highlights of the session included the presentation of the Council’s major accomplishments for 2024 and a thorough review of the draft amendment to the Executive Order governing the Council’s operations.
The discussions emphasized a proactive approach to refining the Council’s frameworks and strategies for price monitoring and consumer protection.
In line with its role in safeguarding consumer welfare, CDO CPCC remains focused on implementing programs that uphold transparency, accountability, and efficiency in monitoring market prices and addressing consumer concerns. ♦
