Ambaguio, Nueva Vizcaya —  Team DTI R2 Nueva Vizcaya led by Provincial Director Atty. Michael B. Paggabao visited one of the province’s hidden gems – the town of Ambaguio to pay a courtesy visit to Mayor Ronelio Danao on 25 June 2024, and discuss collaborative efforts to enhance local industries and livelihood programs in the municipality.

The meeting highlighted the forthcoming implementation of the Roads Leveraging Linkages of Industry and Trade (ROLL IT) Project this year, along with targeted assistance for the thriving coffee industry in Ambaguio.

Additionally, Mayor Danao underscored the urgent need for aid to local hog raisers to ensure a steady meat supply within the community.

Atty. Paggabao assured support for these initiatives and introduced the initiative of providing livelihood kits to former rebels as part of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginahawa (PPG) Program.

Mayor Danao further emphasized the inclusion of PWDs and carpenters as beneficiaries under this program. A comprehensive profiling of the listed beneficiaries will be undertaken to ensure they meet the program’s criteria.

Another key discussion was the support of DTI to the Sweet Potato industry in Ambaguio, reflecting a commitment to diversify and strengthen the municipality’s agricultural sector.

Accompanying Atty. Paggabao were BDD Chief Lenore Lee Lopez, Senior Business Counsellor Jannyn Lafeguera, and SSF Tech. Assistant Arjay Novida. ♦
