VICTORIA, LAGUNA – The Consumer Protection Division of the Department of Trade and Industry Laguna Provincial Office conducted Diskwento Caravan at the Laguna Provincial Capitol Compound in Santa Cruz, Laguna, on September 18, 2024.

This is in collaboration with Puregold Price Club Inc., Eostre Integrated Farm, Nestle Philippines, McDonald’s Philippines, EFF Footwear, and Artisan Food Products.

The given goods and products from various collaborating partners generated a total sale of Php122,900.00, serving a total of twenty-seven (27) barangays and a total of 405 beneficiaries.

The Diskwento Caravan is a DTI project that works with producers and distributors of basic requirements and core commodities to supply consumers with economically priced, high-quality items. These food goods are priced cheaper than their suggested retail pricing and are sometimes offered in packs, resulting in savings for consumers. As a rolling store, Diskwento Caravan enables growers and manufacturers to offer agricultural and manufactured basic and prime items directly to consumers. The collaborating partners provide an adequate supply of low-cost basic and core commodities to clients.
