12162024_DTI-Laguna Conducts Another Run of Registration and Licensing Seminar cum 6S of Good Housekeepin

Bay, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office, through Negosyo Centers Victoria and Cabuyao, in partnership with the CARD-MRI Development Institute, Inc., conducted a training last November 26, 2024 held at the CMDI Campus in Brgy. Tranca, Bay, Laguna. The training was attended by a total of 66 potential micro, small, and medium enterprises from Laguna and some from the National Capital Region.

The training discourse focused on two topics: Registration and Licensing, as well as 6S of Good Housekeeping. Mr. Syruz Reyes, Business Counselor of Cabuyao, discussed the process of obtaining the necessary permits and licenses to operate a business. He provided a detailed process of legalizing their business and to which agencies they could reach out that may help the microentrepreneurs build their identity and create legality as business owners.

On the other hand, Mr. Dharrel Delos Reyes, Business Counselor of Victoria, discussed the 6S of good housekeeping, wherein he emphasized that it is an improvement tool that may provide ideas to the entrepreneurs on how they could create an organized, safe, and a friendly workplace. The training was filled with topic-related humors by the speakers that keeps the participants active.

The training ended with positive feedback from the attendees, who expressed their satisfaction through the Client Satisfaction Form. The program was highly praised by the participants, who appreciated the relevant and actionable information provided. The enthusiasm for the training was evident, with many participants as well as the hosts expressing a strong interest in future training opportunities (DDelosReyes, DTI-Laguna). ♦
