Calamba City – The Laguna Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Laguna), in collaboration with the Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department of the City Government of Calamba, successfully organized a seminar at the Jose Rizal Coliseum in Halang, Calamba City, last February 21, 2025.

The event was designed to equip micro-entrepreneurs with valuable knowledge and skills in business operations, records management, and consumer education. Hosted by the Negosyo Centers of Los Baños and San Pedro, the seminar aimed to help entrepreneurs streamline their operations, maintain accurate business records, and understand the significance of consumer education for long-term success.

The Negosyo Center Los Baños focused on delivering insightful discussions on business operations and records management. Experts from the center guided the participants through effective strategies for organizing and maintaining crucial business records, such as financial documents and inventory logs, which contribute to efficient decision-making and operational success. The session included practical tips for streamlining workflows, optimizing resource use, and ensuring compliance with regulations, which are essential in building a strong foundation for any business.

Meanwhile, the Negosyo Center San Pedro led a session on consumer education, emphasizing the importance of informed consumer practices in sustaining a successful business. The discussions covered key topics such as understanding consumer behavior, building trust through transparent business practices, and the role of customer satisfaction in driving repeat business. Attendees engaged in interactive activities that helped them better grasp the principles of effective consumer communication and how to create a loyal customer base.
