Morong, Rizal—In a dynamic collaboration to support and empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) successfully conducted a “Power Coaching” session on May 26.  The DTI Rizal, through its Negosyo Centers in Morong, Cardona, and Baras, partnered with Meralco, Bayad, and MPioneer Insurance for the one-day event, which brought together 30 MSME participants from nearby municipalities.

The initiative provided entrepreneurs with vital tools for operational efficiency, sustainable energy use, financial solutions, and risk protection—all essential elements to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.

Expert-led discussions covered:

  • Energy Efficiency and Power Management by Meralco;
  • Accessible Payment Solutions by Bayad;
  • Affordable Business Insurance by MPioneer Insurance; and
  • Business Development Support from DTI Rizal and the Negosyo Centers.

“This collaboration is a reflection of our commitment to provide MSMEs not only with regulatory and training support but also with access to private sector expertise that addresses their evolving business needs,” said Leah Clemente, Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Morong.

Beyond technical sessions, the event became an engaging platform where MSMEs could raise operational concerns, explore income-generating opportunities, and establish valuable connections with public and private stakeholders.

Through sustained collaboration and resource-sharing with private partners, the DTI Rizal reaffirms its commitment to nurturing resilient and innovative MSMEs.  Its Negosyo Centers stand as pillars of entrepreneurship, empowering Rizal’s entrepreneurs to drive sustainable economic progress and inclusive prosperity. ♦
