DTI Rizal, SM Center Antipolo Downtown empower tenants thru a BCP Training Workshop

ANTIPOLO CITY, 29 April 2025 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal, spearheaded by Ms. Sharon Dioco, Division Chief of Business Development, teamed up within SM Prime Holdings, Inc., successfully conducted a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) workshop yesterday at SM Center Antipolo Downtown.

The event saw the participation of approximately 12 active mall tenants who eagerly engaged with the initiative designed to enhance their disaster preparedness and business resilience capabilities.

The workshop forms part of a comprehensive program aimed at equipping SM tenants with vital knowledge on disaster management and business continuity strategies. Through this collaborative effort, business owners are guided in developing actionable plans and implementing practical measures to ensure rapid recovery and operational continuity during and after calamities.

A highlight of the workshop was a presentation of Mr. Enrilito Bernardo from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Office (CDRRMO), who discussed Antipolo’s disaster plans and programs in detail. Participants engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises that helped them apply BCP concepts to their specific business contexts.
