Mandaluyong City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to bring the diverse products and cultural identity of the Bicol region to the national spotlight with the return of Orgullo kan Bikol (OKB) Trade Fair. The fair will take place from May 15 to 18 at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza.
Now in its 28th year and 32nd edition, this fair stands as the country’s longest-running DTI-led trade event. Organized by the DTI Region 5, in partnership with the OKB Association, Inc., the fair continues to champion the rich heritage and entrepreneurial drive of Bicolano micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), offering a distinct taste of their homegrown excellence to Metro Manila.
“OKB is more than just a trade fair. It is a celebration of Bicolano resilience, creativity, and innovation,” said DTI 5 Regional Director Dindo G. Nabol. “We are proud to bring our local entrepreneurs to a wider market and showcase what Bicol has to offer.”
A total of 61 exhibitors from all six Bicol provinces will participate this year, each presenting a wide range of proudly local products. These include pili-based delicacies, world-class abaca crafts, and innovative processed foods, fashion items, and wellness products.
Additionally, the event will welcome nine new MSME exhibitors, bringing more excitement and innovation.
The OKB trade fair invites domestic and foreign buyers to explore the offerings of Bicolano entrepreneurs. This event serves as an avenue for MSMEs to promote their products and encourages them to explore the global market.
