The “Tindahan Mo, e-Level Up Mo!” initiative, a series of free online training sessions running from June to October 2024, aims to equip small store owners with the skills necessary to thrive in the digital economy. Module 3 was streamed in 12 venues across the province, reflecting the growing commitment to support grassroots businesses.
Innovative Training for Micro Entrepreneurs
The DTI’s virtual sessions cover five critical modules, focusing on digitizing operations, expanding market access, and promoting sustainable consumption practices. Each module is designed to provide practical financial, marketing, and sustainability tips to help store owners enhance their business operations.
The training sessions are held every last Wednesday of the month, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and are accessible through DTI’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. The third module, held in August, emphasized sustainable capital building and financial management, providing participants with actionable strategies to grow their businesses.
Collaborative Efforts for Greater Impact
Highlighting the program’s collaborative approach, Nestlé Philippines actively participated in three learning centers, offering exclusive discounts to participating sari-sari store owners. This initiative resulted in total sales amounting to PHP 103,000, showcasing the potential of strategic partnerships in boosting local commerce.
