The annual headline inflation at the national level continued to accelerate at 5.7 percent in July 2018. Last month, it was recorded at 5.2 percent and in July 2017, 2.4 percent.
Higher annual increments were noted in the 9 out of 11 indices: food and non-alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages and tobacco; clothing and footwear; housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels; furnishing, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house; health; transportation; communication; and recreation and culture.
