DTI Chief: EO that retained 5% tariff on MDM issued, to prevent huge price increase of processed and canned meat products

MANILA— President Rodrigo Roa Duterte issued Executive Order (EO) No. 123 that retained the 5% tariff rate on imported mechanically deboned meat (MDM) instead of increasing it to 40%.
