Go Lokal!, a free-market access platform for Philippine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), introduced by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in collaboration with select retail partners, continues to expand the market reach of MSME products by partnering with 29 retailers, rolling out 131 stores nationwide, assisting 859 MSMEs of which 466 were mainstreamed and became regular suppliers of partner retailers. To date, the program has generated sales of over Php 534.54 Million.

Since 2017, the DTI Go Lokal! Concept Store has served as a market testing facility, a sourcing hub for the program’s partner retail establishments, and a retail store for walk- in customers. With a new store operator, the concept store now sports a new look that includes a Kapetirya nook, where visitors can enjoy sipping local coffee and shopping a range of curated product selections from 44 MSMEs across the country.

The Go Lokal! program continues to provide business opportunities to MSMEs through its partnerships with major retailers (malls, department stores, supermarkets, duty-free shops, convenience stores, hotels, and e-commerce platforms) who share the same vision of providing free retail space to MSMEs.

In line with the DTI’s mandate to provide assistance to MSMEs in the areas of marketing and promotion, the Bureau of Domestic Trade and Promotion (BDTP) will hold a Buyers’ Day event for new and existing Go Lokal! suppliers and retail buyers on January 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn at the Go Lokal! Concept Store in the DTI Head Office in Makati.

We invite everyone to visit the Go Lokal! Concept Store store at the Ground Floor, Trade and Industry Building, 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Go Lokal outlets are also found in malls, supermarkets, Duty-Free shops, and e- commerce platforms such as LazMall, ShopeeMall and UnionBank GlobalLinker.
