The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will hold the Inclusive Innovation Conference (IIC) 2019 on 23 September 2019. As an update, the venue has been moved and is now slated to happen at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.
The theme for this year’s IIC is “Bridging the Digital Transformation Divide: Fostering Regional Inclusive Innovation Centers & Startup Ecosystems.”
As in the previous IICs the past two years, IIC 2019 will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sectors, including key officials from national and local government agencies, industry stakeholders and business groups, and members of the academic and research community throughout the country.
This year, as we implement the Inclusive Filipinnovation and Entrepreneurship Roadmap, we will focus on the following topics:
- Building Regional Inclusive Innovation Centers (RIICs)
- Embracing Industry 4.0 Technologies
- Learning from the journey of successful startups
