  1. Intellectual Property (IP) Panorama (https://www.asean-sme-academy.org/courses/ip-panorama/). This learning resource is specifically designed to help SMEs utilize and manage IP in their business strategy and deal with the wide range of IP issues from a business perspective.
  2. Primer on IP (https://www.asean-sme-academy.org/courses/primer-on-intellectual-property/). This course covers the fundamental aspects of IP: copyright and related rights, trademarks, patents, geographical indications, and industrial designs. It also covers contemporary issues impacting the IP field such as: new plant varieties, unfair competition, enforcement of IP rights and emerging issues in IP.
  3. Introduction to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (https://www.asean-sme-academy.org/courses/introduction-to-the-patent-cooperation-treaty/). This course provides an introduction and general overview of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
  4. Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications (https://www.asean-sme-academy.org/courses/trademarks-industrial-designs-and-geographical-indications/). This course provides a detailed coverage of trademarks, industrial designs and geographical indications and their role in trade and international commerce. Additionally, the course covers the protection and management of brands.
  5. Intellectual Property Management (https://www.asean-sme-academy.org/lessons/intellectual-property-management/). The course focuses on IP from the perspective of ‘why’ and ‘how’ for participants who have already covered the basics of ‘what’ IP is. Using management examples and established industry methodologies, it covers IP asset identification, IP commercialization, IP valuation, and IP taxation. It also offers an in-depth look at commercial activities in the digital area by looking at e-commerce and IP, digital management of creative works, and the strategic management of IP.
