The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recognizes the valuable contributions of consumer organizations in the area of consumer protection. To ensure that only legitimate COs that advocate, promote and advance consumers’ interests and welfare should be recognized, DTI released new guidelines on the Recognition of Consumer Organizations (COs).
