The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Consumer Policy and Advocacy Bureau (CPAB) released the Department Administrative Order (DAO) 22-04, series of 2022 or the “Amendment to DAO 21-09, series of 2021 On the Grant of the DTI Seal of Legitimacy for Legitimate Direct Selling and Multi-Level Marketing.

DAO No. 22-04 amended DAO 21-09 includes, among others, the submission of notarized Representations and Undertaking, processing time, procedure for cancellation and revocation of the Seal of Legitimacy (Seal), and the reportorial requirements of the company grantee.
