Special Enforcement Activities on Fair Trade Laws – in Laguna

Event:
The DTI-FTEB of the DTI-Consumer Protection Group (CPG) disperses enforcement teams to different areas in the Laguna Province to check if specific critical construction materials, electrical products, and chemical and consumer products, are compliant with the requirements of the Philippine National Standards (PNS).

DTI-FTEB conducts these enforcement activities to assess the retailers’ compliance with Fair Trade Laws such as the Republic Act No. 7394 or the Consumer Act of the Philippines, R. A. No. 7581 or the Price Act, and the R. A. No. 4109 or the Standards Law.
