The DTI-FTEB of the DTI-Consumer Protection Group (CPG) disperses enforcement teams to different areas in the National Capital Region (NCR) to check if specific critical construction materials and electrical products are compliant with the requirements of the Philippine National Standards (PNS).
 
DTI-CPG Undersecretary Atty. Teodoro C. Pascua leads the enforcement activities to assess the retailers’ compliance with Fair Trade Laws such as the Republic Act No. 7394 or the Consumer Act of the Philippines, R. A. No. 7581 or the Price Act, and the R. A. No. 4109 or the Standards Law.
