Event:
The DTI’s Consumer Protection Group (CPG) provides updates on its specific programs for consumers and businesses as well.

The DTI, together with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the private sector formulates the guidelines for the National Motor Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program (NMVIMP).

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) enjoins the consumers, businesses and particularly the overseas Filipinos to transact only with freight forwarders accredited with the Philippine Shippers’ Bureau (PSB) to avoid troubles in transporting their cargoes/ packages especially Balikbayan boxes.

The DTI and ISO organize a Stakeholders Engagement Program and a Regional Training Program on Good Standardization Practices on 04-07 July 2017 to heighten the national standardization programs in the country.
