The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), together with Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) and Export Development Council (EDC), respectfully invites the members of the media to attend and cover the National Export Congress (NEC) 2019 on 6 December 2019, 9:00 AM (8:00 AM start of registration) at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City. The NEC is the National Exporters’ Week (NEW) highlight event with the theme “Driving Exports through Digital Transformation.”

Every first week of December is declared as Exporters’ Week per Presidential Proclamation 931, Series of 1996 and House Resolution 33. The government and the private sector commit to continuously work together to sustain export promotion and development.

The event will be led by DTI Secretary Ramon M. Lopez, PHILEXPORT President Sergio R. Ortiz-Luis, Jr., DTI-Trade Promotions Group (TPG) Undersecretary Abdulgani M. Macatoman. They will be joined by DTI-Export Marketing Bureau (EMB) Director Senen M. Perlada, DTI-EMB Assistant Directors Agnes Legaspi and Anthony Rivera, other DTI officials, EDC Deputy Executive Director Elsa Dela Paz-Valenzuela, EDC Members (Council & EXCOM), PHILEXPORT Board of Trustees – Members, and PCCI Board of Trustees – Members.
