The DTI’s Consumer Protection Group (CPG) provides updates on its specific programs for consumers and businesses as well.
The DTI launches its Project Enforcement Team or Project ET to enhance the competence of DTI personnel in conducting monitoring and enforcement activities and to intensify the implementation of fair trade laws for the safeguard of consumers.
In addition, the DTI reviews its policies on price monitoring and on product certification scheme to ensure the protection of consumers.
