Event:

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) leads the nationwide celebration of the World Consumer Rights’ Day (15 March 2017) and joins the nationwide celebration of the National Women’s Month (March) with the themes, “Building a Digital World Consumers Can Trust” and “We Make Change Work for Women”, respectively.

In line with these celebrations, the DTI’s Consumer Protection Group and the DTI’s Employees Union, feature the Filipino Women as Entrepreneurs in a Women’s Fiesta Caravan wherein their creative and unique products and services are showcased in exhibition and sale. In addition, women scholars from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will provide free haircut, make-up and massage services to female patrons. The Women’s Fiesta Caravan is from 14 to 17 March 2017.
